Also called The Queen of the seas, Tyre (referred as Sour in Arabic) is one of the most important coastal cities in Lebanon. It is located in Lebanon’s Southern Province.

Based on my personal experience in 2019, I didn’t visit touristic places much.

I stayed in “Asamina Boutique Hotel” located in “Hay El Massihiye” that was very nice and comfortable for a weekend getaway.

With an amazing sunset view from the hotel itself and an easy access to the sea, the place is very comfortable and has amazing sea view with many pubs, restaurants and shops surrounding it with an easy access to the port of Tyre itself.

Tyre public beach is known to many as the most beautiful beach in Lebanon, and the cleanest! With no entry fee, tourists and natives alike admire this natural beach for its soft white sand and unaltered crisp blue shore, with the water as clear as it gets for Lebanese beaches.
The route is as scenic as they come, just follow the sea to the south and you’ll end up at what is debatably Lebanon’s most treasured shoreline.

Finally you can reach Al Naqoura for an end of Tyre’s visit and check many spots where many photographs can be taken as post cards for the city.

As a summary, I see Tyre as a “must visit” city.
